Nigeria’s U-23 men handball team will face USA, Azerbaijan and Moldova in Group B of the 5th International Handball Federation (IHF) Emerging Nations Championship in Bulgaria.
This was revealed by the Handball Federation of Nigeria on their X handle.
According to the federation the championship will take place from March 11 to 16th, 2025.
Group A has hosts Bulgaria, Great Britain, Cyprus and Paraguay.
IHF Emerging Nations Championship is a competition organized by the world governing body.
The championship is for countries participating in the four year plan of the European Handball Federation and some of the best ranked countries that didn’t qualify for the World Championship.
