Kelechi Iheanacho is determined to score more goals for LaLiga club Sevilla, reports Completesports.com.
Iheanacho has struggled to make impact at the former UEFA Europa League champions since his arrival on a free transfer this summer.
The forward opened his goal account for the Rojiblancos in the Copa del Rey victory over Las Rozas on Wednesday night.
The Nigeria international scored twice in the 3-0 victory.
“Hopefully, there are more goals to come, and hopefully, Sevilla will be in the top six of La Liga by the end of the season.” Iheanacho told the club’s official website.
Sevilla will host Real Sociedad in a LaLiga clash on Sunday.
Iheanacho stated that he is looking forward to playing in front of the home fans again.
“I will be really happy to play in our stadium again,” he added.
“We have amazing fans, and they always support the team no matter what. Hopefully, I get a chance to play there, and hopefully, they will come out, support the team, and we win the game.”
