I don’t know the seriousness of Ndidi’s injury, but many reports indicate that it’s still the knee that was operated upon recently. I remember many fans (especially Nigerians) speaking out against the rushed return of Ndidi to action after his knee surgery to avoid relapse of the injury, but Rogers would not listen.
With all his experience with players and injuries, he selfishly justified playing that young man instead of allowing him full recovery. Now, who knows how bad this could be for the player in the long term….
As a club, Leicester City can buy any player that they want, but as a nation, our choices are limited to only our citizens.
I sincerely pray that the selfishness of this coach doesn’t lead to a nagging injury for this very important Nigerian player.
I wish Ndidi a complete recovery from this injury.
Same way he rushed back vardy from injury. This man doesn’t really believe much in iheanacho doing the work for him that’s why he didn’t start him against Chelsea but instead opted to rush back vardy. Iheanacho will deliver more consistently if he is giving more play time
