Kelechi Iheanacho look set to retain his Premier League Player is of the Month award after he was nominated for the April award, Completesports.com reports.
Iheanacho’s nomination was announced on the Premier League’s official website premierleague.com on Friday.
He became the fourth Nigerian, after Austin Okocha, Osaze Odenwingie and Odion Ighalo, to win the award after he won it in April.

He will slug it out with seven other players for the April award which will see the winner emerge via voting by fans.
The other players in the running for the award are Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Mason Greenwood (Manchester United), Jesse Lingard (West Ham), Matheus Pereira (West Brom), Alan Saint-Maximin (Newcastle United), Chris Wood (Burnley) and Stuart Dallas (Leeds).
Iheanacho followed winning March’s award by scoring four goals and registering two assists. His haul included superb strikes against West Ham United and Crystal Palace.

Abi, not certain any other player has done better than he has in April. If he doesn’t score goals he assists so his impact per game is obvious. But lets see how it goes.
