Kelechi Iheanacho was once again on the score sheet and Wilfred Ndidi set up another goal as Leicester City defeated Stoke City 2-0 at the King Power stadium in Saturday’s Championship tie.
It is Iheanacho’s third goal in his last three games in the Championship also, he has scored four goals, made one assist in 11 league appearances this season.
Ndidi took his number of assists in all competitions this campaign to four (he has three assists in the league). He has scored one goal in 11 games.
The Foxes have now won 10 of their 11 league matches – matching the best-ever start to a Championship season, by Sheffield United 18 years ago.

They currently top the standing and are two points ahead of second placed Ipswich Town.
Iheanacho opened the scoring for Leicester in the 24th minute. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall centred the ball for Ricardo Pereira, waiting for it on the edge of the box.
Pereira slipped the ball through to Iheanacho whose low drive whizzed through the legs of Stoke keeper Mark Travers and inside the near post from a tight angle.
Jamie Vardy then made it 2-0 in favour of Leicester in the 79th minute.
Ndidi received the ball and found Vardy who picked his spot, rolling the ball beyond Stoke keeper for his fifth goal of the season in all competitions.
