Iheanacho Benched Again As Sevilla Record Away Win

Kelechi Iheanacho was benched in Sevilla’s 2-0 win away to Espanyol in the La Liga on Friday.

Iheanacho has now been benched in Sevilla’s last three games.

He last featured for the team on September 29 in a 1-1 draw away to Athletic Bilbao.

The 28-year-old has made five appearances for Sevilla since joining them from Leicester City in the summer.

In Friday’s game first half brace from Dodi Lukebakio was enough to secure the three points,

Lukebakio opened the scoring in the 20th minute before making it 2-0 on the stroke of half time.

Meanwhile, Iheanacho’s Nigerian teammate Chidera Ejuke is out for three months after suffering a hamstring injury in the game against Barcelona.
