Former Nigeria forward,Odion Ighalo will be seeking a return to reckoning at Manchester United when the Red Devils visit the Goodison Park to face Alex Iwobi’s Everton in the quarterfinal of the EFL (Carabao) Cup.
The former Watford of England forward last featured for Manchester United in any domestic competition in their 3-0 Carabao Cup defeat of Brighton at the Amex stadium at the end of September and Ighalo will be hoping to use the same competition to kickstart his return to reckoning before his loan deal expires at the end of January.

More importantly,the Nigerian will be hoping to score his first goal for Man United this season which incidentally will be his second goal in the competition following his consolation goal in Watford’s 2-1 extra-time loss to Gillingham in August 2016 at the Vicarage Road stadium.
Interestingly,the five goals the Nigerian has scored since he joined the Red Devils on loan from Chinese Super League side,Shanghai Greenland Shenhua have come form cup games viz three in three FA Cup games and two in five Europa League matches.
Ighalo has featured twice for Man United in the competition this term and started both while he has seen just nine minutes of action in the Premier League and one minute in the UEFA Champions League.
