Super Falcons zoomed into the final of the Women’s WAFU Cup of Nations following a 4-2 penalty shoot-out win against perennial rivals Ghana in their semi-final clash in Abidjan on Thursday, Completesports.com reports.
Thomas Dennerby’s ladies dominated possession in the game but were let down by their poor finishing.
The game went into penalty shootout after both teams failed find the breakthrough in regulation time.
The Super Falcons converted all their four kicks, while the Black Queens scored only two.
They will take on hosts Cote d’Ivoire in the final of the competition on Saturday.
