Dominic Solanke scored an historic Premier League goal in Bournemouth’s 2-2 draw against Manchester United at the Vitality stadium on Saturday.
Solanke continued his superb scoring form in the league this season for Bournemouth.
His goal against United, which put Bournemouth 1-0 ahead on 16 minutes, means the striker has now scored 17 top-flight goals which is one more than Josh King managed during the 2016/17 campaign.
Solanke chased down a hopeful pass from Marcos Senesi down the left flank, where he came up against United defender Willy Kambwala.
But the Frenchman was no match for Solanke, who shoved the centre-back off with the youngster hitting the deck, and fired beyond Andre Onana.
Bruno Fernandes equalised for United on 31 minutes but Justin Kluivert put Bournemouth 2-1 ahead in the 36th minute.
Fernandes brought United back on level terms when he converted a penalty on 65 minutes.

It remains to be seen if Solanke’s good form in front of goal will be enough to earn him a place in England’s squad for Euro 2024.
The former Liverpool striker would have to content with the likes of Harry Kane, Olie Watkins and Ivan Toney.
Solanke was called up to the Three Lions for the first time in November 2017 for a friendly against Brazil at Wembley Stadium.
He came on as a 75th-minute substitute in the game which ended goalless.
