Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has been nominated for December’s EA Sports EPL Player of the Month award, reports Completesports.com.
Hazard who previously won the award in September after scoring five EPL goals in four matches will battle Felipe Anderson of West Ham, Tottenham’s Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford from Manchester United and Liverpool’s pair of Mohamed Salah, Virgil Van Dijk.
Hazard was directly involved in eight of the 10 goals Chelsea scored during December, scoring three and recording five assists.
The Belgian skipper netted a brace in their the Boxing Day win at Watford with what were his 100th and 101st goals for Chelsea, becoming only the 10th player in the Blue’s history to achieve that milestone, having also been on target in the 2-1 win at Brighton.
The 27-year-old Hazard also provided assists for both N’Golo Kante and David Luiz during our 2-0 win over Manchester City, as well as laying on two goals for Ruben Loftus-Cheek and one for Pedro over the course of the month.

Son on his part, bagged six goals in the EPL during that period to add to his opener at Arsenal in the Carabao Cup, including two against both Everton and Bournemouth, while Harry also netted six league goals, including a brace at Goodison Park.
Salah and Virgil Van Dijk were also instrumental to Liverpool’s nine EPL games winning streak until Thursday’s 2-1 loss away to Manchester City.
