Leicester midfielder Vicente Iborra is reportedly in Spain to finalise a proposed January transfer to Villarreal. The Spaniard only joined the Foxes from Sevilla during the summer of 2017 but has struggled to hold down a regular first-team place under Claude Puel, particularly this season, starting just three Premier League games, the last of which came against Tottenham at the start of December.
Reports in Spain are now suggesting Iborra is close to finalising a move away from the King Power Stadium and he looks set to join Villarreal.

It is claimed that the 30-year-old has already agreed personal terms with the Yellow Submarine and is expected to sign a three-and-a-half-year contract.
One stumbling block remains the transfer fee, however, as Leicester reportedly want around 15million euros to part company with Iborra, while Villarreal are hoping to pay significantly less than that.
Should the clubs agree on a fee then the deal could go through ahead of Villarreal’s La Liga clash with Eibar at the Ipurua on Sunday.
