Real Madrid star, David Alaba has expressed delight to have scored in the El Clasico against Barcelona.
The Austria defender joined Real Madrid in a Bosman transfer from Bayern Munich this past summer.
Alaba said: “Of course, it was a great moment to score in the Clasico. It was also important for us to win the Clasico. And the fact of having contributed to this victory makes it all the more remarkable.

“My first goal was to play a Clasico and get a positive result, and to score a goal in such an important game is also something special. Yes, it took me a while to adjust, but now I feel like home in Madrid.
“We have just found a house where everything is not done yet, but it feels very good there, having been in the hotel for the last few weeks, the last months.”

Our stupid NFF officials made us loose this guy to Austria. This guy contacted Nigeria FA indicating his willingness to be part of Yemi Tilla’s 2007 under 17 world cup team but was turned down by the NFA officials who told him that they only want Nigerians living in Nigeria to be given a chance to represent us in the world cup.
The young man was heart broken and decided to represent Austria because of the rejection by Nigeria.
What about Adebayor, Muri Ogunbiyi, Razak Omotoyosi, and recently Faustino Anjorin went to AFCON U 17 but coach Garba Manu did not give him a single minute.
Adebayor’s case is totally different because he chose Togo over Nigeria because according to him he would not be able to brake into the Eagles duo to the caliber of players Nigeria paraded at the time. He confessed that he thought about playing for Nigeria but could not choose Nigeria only to end up on the beach in every game while he would be the super star of Togo team. He made the right decision for himself choosing Togo over Nigeria but NFA had no part to play in that.
