Real Madrid defender Eder Militao has expressed delight to be part of the team’s Champions League success despite struggling with injuries.
Militao, who came on as a substitute for Rodrygo in the 90th minute, told the club’s official website that it was a special moment for him because of the injuries and difficulties he had experienced.

Militao said: “It’s special because of the injuries and the difficulties I’ve had.
“Not even in my wildest dreams could I believe this. I’m lost for words. They’ve been difficult days, but I’ve overcome them with the help of my family. At last we’re celebrating and we’re very happy.”
“From the bench it’s more difficult than on the pitch. You can’t do anything and you can’t help anyone. I was on my feet the whole time.”
