AC Milan centre-back Fikayo Tomori has dismissed any claim that he wanted to join Tottenham Hotspur in the winter transfer window.
He stated: “I never planned to leave AC Milan, that’s very clear and simple. I’m just happy to be at this club and as long as they want me, I want to stay.”
Tomori was strongly linked with both Aston Villa and Spurs in the winter, but the Rossoneri failed to find an agreement with either of them.
The 27-year-old has been a starting centre-back under Sergio Concecaio’s system, having made 25 appearances for the Rossoneri so far this season.
