AC Milan forward Tammy Abraham has expressed his desire to visit Nigeria again.
Abraham was born in Camberwell , Greater London, to Nigerian parents.
The 27-year-old was approached by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in 2017, but he opted to represent the Three Lions of England.
Upon receiving his first England call-up in November 2017, the striker stated that there was never any prospect of him choosing to play for Nigeria.
He has been capped 11 times by England with three goals to his name.
The former Chelsea player is however not willing to forget his Nigerian roots and hopes to visit the West African country.
“I have a few Nigerian friends. I grew up in an area with many Nigerians. I was raised with that culture, I’ve been to Nigeria, and I hope to go back soon. My mom often cooks Nigerian dishes,” he told Milan TV.

You are not a Nigerian. Nigerians work for Nigerians. Nigerians work for Africa. Nigerians work for them family.
Eze, Saka, and Tomori turned down SE without raising dust. Saka was in Nigeria in his characteristics no-noise, no-drama, no-disrespect style. He didn’t even announce it and even visited the hood. He grew up in Somolu, Lagos. He got a lot of love from fans and still does. In fact, Lagos governor Sanwo-Olu hosted him.
By contrast, you so disrespectfully released a statement outrightly rejecting Nigeria and practically begging Northgate not to forget you. Well, he’s successfully cap-tied you 3 times and that’s it. Now, you can continue to enjoy a club football career.
You’re welcome back to your roots. But don’t expect the kind of reception Saka got. He was wise in his rejection. You can sneak in and sneak back. No one really cares. You reject us openly, We return the favor.
Haa, 9ja people, learn how to forgive and forget kę.
It is Tammy’s choice and we have to abide by that.
We have to remember this ba. It is never possible to have all the foreign burn players we wanted in the SuperEagles squad. We already had Dessers, who had two options, but he decided to play for Nigeria. Wait a minute, what should Kolawole do the way NFF/Super Eagles coaches have been treating him? Eguavoen even lied that he didn’t know Dessers.
We also had Iwobi, Lookman, Bassey, Ekong and many other foreign players in the Super Eagles as I speak with you people today.
Kai, fellow Nigerians, let’s forgive Tammy Abraham. He will regret his actions like Fashanu, who wanted to be part of the NFF after rejecting Nigeria, but he did not understand that Nigerians don’t forgive easily. NFA then turned his offer down.
Do we think that the foreign burn players do not know the way the NFF is treating the players and the coaching crew of the Super Eagles?
Bia, if you people were Tammy, would you choose Nigeria over England? Be honest here kę.
I heard that if you play for England Three Lions just once, you will have access to all the benefits an employee deserves as long as you are still breathing, but is it like that in Nigeria?
Lookman is very wise by switching to Nigeria and still receiving the benefits if what I heard is correct. Please don’t quote me on this because that is what I heard of ooo.
Hmm… There’s something for sure Tammy will forever regret his actions.
If Tammy Abraham chooses to visit Nigeria, let’s receive him with warm regards, shikena! Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!
Imagine telling someone who can or cant visit a country. When nigerians getting blocked to even go to saudi arabia
Please give an opening statement why a player of nigerian descent should play for nigeria? Ill wait
I mean Saka is humble and he got a african lady with him, cant say for most of these nigerians or nigerian descent players. When they get racially abused then they wanna go back home. Happen to obi mikel, happened to tammy. Shoot it will probably happen to boniface soon, he got a oyinbo
Nigeria is God own country and we are loving people.
You can visit Nigeria as a tourist but no place for you in our Super Eagles team. The team no longer need you.
God bless all Nigerians in diaspora that didn’t turn their back on Nigeria when the country needs them.
God bless Super Eagles of Nigeria
