Chidera Ejuke hopes to score on a regular basis for CSKA Moscow after scoring his first goal for the club in Sunday’s 3-1 home win against local rivals Spartak Moscow, Completesports. com reports.
Ejuke netted the third goal for the hosts in the game.
Spartak Moscow took the lead in the 11th minute before Hoerdur Magnusson and Nikola Vlasic turned things around for CSKA in the 30th and 45th minutes respectively.
“To be honest, it was a really good win for the team. I think everyone played hard today and spent a lot of energy,”Ejuke told cska.com.

“Winning the derby is the most important thing. And, of course, I’m glad I scored a goal, I hope this will be the first of many.
“It’s great to score. This is my goal here, I just want to do my best, give my best to the fans, the team, the club. I hope that over the course of the season I will score further.”
The winger also praised the fans for their support during the game.
“Honestly, the fans were amazing, they were supportive, they sang their chants, even when we conceded a goal at the beginning of the first half,”he added.
“I really enjoyed what I saw. The atmosphere was crazy. I will look forward to the same in the upcoming matches.”
