Brighton boss Chris Hughton has been “delighted” with Jurgen Locadia’s performances but urged the striker to grab more goals.
Locadia joined the Seagulls in last year’s January transfer window in a reported £15million deal from PSV Eindhoven, and initially struggled to force his way into the starting XI.

The 25-year-old Dutchman has established himself as a regular this term with 19 Premier League appearances, and has started the last 10 in all competitions.
Locadia has managed just two goals in 22 appearances this season, however, and Hughton has now urged the forward to improve on his goalscoring record.
“I’ve been delighted with Jurgen and probably the only thing that he could have put on top of his performances is goals,” said Hughton, as reported by the Brighton and Hove Independent.
“He scored two in his first two games and has been in some good positions. “That would be the next bit for him, to keep giving us what he’s been giving us in that shape. He knows the system very well and gets himself into some good positions but it’s maybe just improving on that end product.”
Locadia has never been a particularly prolific goalscorer and only reached double figures in the Eredivisie in one of his five full seasons with PSV, although he did manage nine in 15 games for the Eindhoven club in the first half of last season before his move to Brighton.
