Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson was delighted with his side’s efforts in their win over Wolves on Wednesday night. The Eagles struck two late goals as Hodgson’s side edged further away from the Premier League relegation zone after Jordan Ayew put them ahead with seven minutes left on the clock.

Luka Milivojevic then made no mistake from the penalty spot deep into stoppage time after Wilfried Zaha was brought down by Ryan Bennett.
Palace remain 14th in the table but six points clear of the drop zone. “It was a good 95 minutes from us,” Hodgson said. “The team performance was very good, we were playing a side in very good form so to come here and play the way we did, we have to be very satisfied.”
