Genoa midfielder Stephane Omeonga is close to agreeing a loan move to Scottish Premiership outfit Hibernian. The Belgian Under-21 international has been in talks with Hibs over a move to Easter Road and is expected to complete the formalities over a loan move until the summer imminently.

The former Anderlecht man was advised he would struggle to feature for the Rossoblu for the remainder of the campaign, after only making four appearances for the Serie A side.
Omeonga is under contract at Genoa until 2022 but if he does well on loan in the SPL, he could end up making the move permanent in the summer.
