Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers is considering deploying Wilfred Ndidi as a centre-back in Sunday’s Premier League away fixture against West Bromwich Albion, reports Completesports.com.
The Foxes have only centre-half available for the trip to the Hawthorns.
Johnny Evans is suspended for the game following his red card in last season’s final fixture against Manchester United.

Wes Morgan and Filip Benkovic are both nursing injuries , leaving Caglar Soyuncu as the only fit centre-back for the game against Baggies.
Ndidi featured as a centre-half during his time with Belgian Pro League side KRC Genk.
Rodgers insists playing the Nigeria international in the position is a possibility.
“He’s one of the best midfield players in the league, that’s his position. I like to have a midfield who can play in a back three. He’s got the attributes, his reading of the game is very good. If I need to play him there, he will do a good job,” Rodgers told a news conference on Friday.

Ndidi started his career as a center back. Arguably, that is his default position, even though he has excelled tremendously as a DM. Dude is a utility player. It won’t surprise me if he can also play as a full back or wing back 🙂
He did play right full back in our game against Zambia (first game) during the WCQ for russia 2018.
Yes He played at right back once.
If you ask me, i don’t like the idea of Ndidi as a CB, I wanna see him improve scoring goals from MF, that’ll make him stamp authority and attract more big teams.
Something like “m. Balack”
Ndidi doesn’t have a good passing ability, that is his Achilles hill
Ndidi biko dont allow that coach to draw you back, move out of that club, this is why i like brazilan players, if you cant play me on my original position, i leave
This how it started with mikel ooo, ndidi move if Rodger trying convert you into a defender, loads of big clubs will surely come for you.
