Valencia sporting director Miguel Angel Corona is optimistic Umar Sadiq will help the club in their fight against relegation.
Sadiq joined Los Ches on six-month loan deal from Real Sociedad on Saturday.
Carlos Corberán’s side have the option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
Valencia currently occupy 19th position on the LaLiga table and face a big fight in their bid to escape the drop.
Corona however believed the forward will help the club maintain their top-flight status.
“We are confident that Sadiq will greatly contribute to our attacking options,” Corona said at his unveiling.

” He complements the players in our squad and has proven his ability to play effectively both upfront and as a lone striker. We trust he will help us, and we’re thrilled to have him.”
Sadiq had a training session few minutes before the move was officially announced.
Corona praised the 26-year-old for his passion and dedication.
“Today, despite it being an unscheduled training day, he came in to train. This, along with his enthusiasm during our conversations over the past weeks, shows his commitment to joining our project and wearing the Valencia CF shirt,” he added.
“We wish him the best of luck, and he is fully at the coach’s disposal.”
