Dries Mertens believes his Galatasaray teammate Victor Osimhen will go places, reports Completesports.com.
Osimhen registered his second consecutive assist in Galatasaray’s 3-1 victory over Istanbul rivals Fenerbahce on Saturday night.
Mertens scored the second goal in the 28th minute of the encounter.
The former Belgium international tipped Osimhen to play for one of the European big guns.
“Frankly, I am very happy that he came here. He is an incredible player, I know he can do even better, we will see that in the future,” Mertens told the club’s official website.
“However, it is a great advantage for him to join us. He did not have a good preparation period, but he is a very important player for us and I think he will go to better places.”
