West Ham will target a move for Liverpool defender Nathaniel Clyne in the summer, reports have claimed.
Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini is looking to bolster his defence during the close season and Clyne, who is currently on loan at Bournemouth, has emerged as a target.
The 28-year-old has been a regular in Eddie Howe’s side since joining the Cherries during the January transfer window and his performances appear to have caught the eye of Pellegrini.
Liverpool will not stand in the player’s way regards a permanent move as he no longer figures in the plans of Reds boss Jurgen Klopp, but it remains to be seen where he will end up.

Reports are now rife suggesting the Hammers will make a move for Clyne, and they believe the chance for the player to live in London rather than on the south coast could win the day for them.
However, the fact that Clyne is back enjoying himself while playing regular first-team football could give the Cherries the edge if, as expected, they pursue a permanent deal.
