Germany forward, Kai Havertz has appreciated the fans for their massive support after they exited Euro 2024.
Recall that Germany were beaten 2-1 by Spain in the quarter-finals of the competition on Friday.
Spain thought they had beaten Germany after Dani Olmo’s 51st-minute finish to a fine team move. But Julian Nagelsmann’s side stuck with it and somehow found an equaliser in the 89th minute from Florian Wirtz after a towering Joshua Kimmich header
But, it was Spain substitute Mikel Merino who decided this match with his fine 119th-minute header.
