Arsenal have failed with another attempt to sign Kieran Tierney after Celtic rejected their latest bid of £25million. The Gunners are desperate to sign a new left-back this summer and Tierney has emerged as a top target, but trying to hammer out a deal with Celtic, who do not want to sell, is turning out to be problematic to say the least.
Arsenal are said to have made an improved offer that will match Celtic’s valuation of £25million, however the structure of the deal, and how the transfer fee will be paid to the Hoops, appears to be the problem.
Celtic are said to be unhappy with the amount of cash Arsenal are offering up front and want it to be more with less add-ons that would eventually take it to £25million. It would appear that the two clubs are getting closer to agreeing a deal, but Celtic are under no pressure to sell and will stand firm while they hold out for exactly what they want.

The fact that Italian Serie A side Napoli are also keen, puts Celtic in a strong position to get what they want, and means Arsenal will have to go higher to land their man.
