Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang admits Arsenal are desperate to finish in a Champions League position this season.
The Gunners, who had to settle for Europa League football in this campaign, are in a real scrap for a top-four spot this term, along with Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Chelsea.
All four sides are vying for third and fourth and Arsenal landed a huge blow last time out, when beating the Red Devils 2-0 at the Emirates – a result which lifted Unai Emery’s men into fourth place. Gabon international Aubameyang scored from the spot in that game and he insists the whole squad are fully focused on ensuring the club make a return to the Champions League. “We know that it will be tough but we want to do something.

We want to get back into the Champions League. We are really hungry,” he told the Independent. “When you see it on the TV and you hear the music it is something special. “So yes, we have to carry on winning games to be in the top four. Yeah, I think we have to [qualify for the Champions League]. That’s the goal since the beginning of the season.”
