Manchester City captain Ilkay Gundogan has disclosed that he has no plan to retire from international football at the moment.
Gundogan, who was part of the Germany side at the 2022 World Cup, has debunked reports circulating in the media that he wants to retire.
Sport1 says the veteran will be available for the Euros qualifying campaign, despite comments after the World Cup that he was likely to retire from international football.
“It is my third major tournament in a row with the national team, which ends extremely frustratingly. This time it’s really a challenge to move on from that,” he had said.
However, Gundogan will now make himself available to Germany coach Hansi Flick.
The veteran comes off contract at City in June.
