Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has admitted his side were not at their best in Wednesday night’s UEFA Champions League clash against Borussia Dortmund.
The Citizens came back from a goal down to beat the Bundesliga side 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium.
Jude Bellingham put Dortmund ahead with an header early in the second half.

Guardiola’s men rallied back with goals from John Stones and Erling Haaland.
“It was quite similar two years ago. We play against them in quarter finals of the Champions League and needed to score a late winner,”Guardiola said after the game.
“We were so passive in our transition, not aggressive enough. We struggled, played in the wrong gear until the last 55 minutes when we had to improve if we were to win.
“This is the Champions League which is very unforgiving and they defended really well. But this win would not have happened in the past as we would not have come back but now we have that ability.”
