Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola has claimed Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have posed the toughest challenge of his managerial career.
The Citizens current lead the way at the top of the Premier League table and they have a one-point cushion over the Reds. Liverpool have only lost one game this season and that came at the hands of City and both teams are now looking to win their final two games.
City take on Leicester City on Monday night before playing Brighton next Sunday and Guardiola is aiming to win the eighth league title of his ten-year career as a manager.

Guardiola has enjoyed some famous battles with Real Madrid over the years but he says that Liverpool have given him the most problems. “In the league, yes, it is the most difficult one for sure.
Every league you win is so nice and it is always difficult but this one especially so,” Guardiola told Sky Sports News.
“And especially where we have come from, getting 100 points and still being there. [It is difficult] for athletes to maintain that level for a long time and we have done it again.”
