Gavin Green is hoping to build some momentum when he returns to home soil for the Maybank Championship this week.
The world number 225 has failed to make the cut on two of his last four outings but impressed at the Saudi International last month, carding a 10-under to finish in a tie for 11th.

His most recent appearance came at the Qatar Masters, finishing in a tie for 31st, but he hopes to enjoy a better week when returning to Kuala Lumpar for the Maybank Championship.
Green admits it is also a proud moment to return to home soil for an event and is hoping to make full use of atmosphere to boost his game.
“It’s such a big one for me. I love playing in front of a home crowd,” Green said. “Maybank have helped me and been with me through the years.
It would be really good to play well and finish as high as I can. “I feel good, I’ve been playing well the last few weeks. I’ve just had a couple of hiccups here and there that disrupted the whole game, but it’s been good so far.
“I got my coach down for a couple of days and worked with him, trying to get ready for this event.”
