Nantes manager Christian Gourcuff has praised Moses Simon for his positive contribution in the side’s 1-0 home win against Montpellier in their French Ligue 1 clash on Saturday, reports Completesports.com.
Simon, who made his first start for Nantes following his loan arrival from Spanish club, Levante last month, provided the assist for Abdoulaye Toure’s decisive strike six minutes from time.
“Even if the game had ended 0-0, I would have been happy with our performance, we are consistent, we are getting there, though we are still missing the last passes, but the collective game is consistent. We create good situations too,” Simon told reporters after the game.
“Kader Bamba and Simon Moses have dribbling qualities. They played well in the game. We were not troubled by the Montpellier organization.”
Simon scored on his debut for Nantes in the 2-1 away win against Amiens last weekend.
Nantes have the opportunity to make his loan deal permanent for just €1million at the end of the season.
