Saracens are not on top form at the moment and will need to improve their attacking play against Sale, Alex Goode has said.
Mark McCall’s side returned to winning ways with a 25-17 victory over Worcester Warriors in the Gallagher Premiership, but Goode was not completely satisfied as they failed to claim a fourth try that would have taken them back top.

Goode praised the way Sarries battled back from behind to take the win, but says they need to be more clinical in attack when they face the Sharks on Friday night. “To be 14-0 down so quickly and to come back from that is always good,” he said.
“We showed composure not to chase the game, make too many mistakes and get our heads down. “We had chances to get a bonus point and our attack needs to be better to take those chances.
“The response from the week before was good and now we have a really tough in Sale away who had a great win over Gloucester. “We are not playing our best at the moment but the ability we have in that changing room makes us believe we can do something special.”
