France forward Olivier Giroud will penned a two year extension with Serie A champions AC Milan.
The 36 year old provisionally agreed to a new contract at San Siro till 2024 before the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
According to La Gazzetta the details of the contract will be finalized shortly with an official statement expected next month.

The veteran has played for a host of clubs across Europe including Montpellier, Chelsea and Arsenal.
Giroud racked up four goals in six games at Qatar 2022.
He has played 13 Serie A games this season so far yielding five goals and three assists.
