Belgian Jupiler club Gent are in talks with Super Eagles defender Jordan Torunarigha Over a new contract.
Torunarigha is out of contract with the club and both parties have not yet reached an agreement on a new contract.
But according to Het Laatste Nieuws talks are still ongoing between the club and the player.
Torunarigha was linked with a move to Belgian giants RSC Anderlecht in the January transfer window.
Last summer the 27-year-old was also linked with moves to English clubs Crystal Palace, Leeds United, Serie A sode and German Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim.
This season Torunarigha has played 24 league matches and has one assist for Gent.
He got a late call-up to the Super Eagles for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe but did not feature in any of the games.
