West Brom striker Dwight Gayle has suggested he could make his loan move from Newcastle United permanent in the summer.
Englishman Gayle joined the Championship outfit on a season-long loan last summer from the Magpies in a deal that saw Venezuela international Salomon Rondon head in the opposite direction.
The 29-year-old from Walthamstow has been in terrific form during this campaign and he has 21 goals to his name from 35 league appearances, the same as strike partner Jay Rodriguez.

With the season drawing to a close, numerous reports are claiming the striker could stay at the Hawthorns permanently and Gayle revealed this is something he would certainly give thought too. “Yes, of course,” he was quoted as saying by the Chronicle.
“I’ve really enjoyed the season and the fans have taken to me and showed great support. “In the summer, I’m going to see what happens but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time here.” It is thought a straight swap-deal will happen this summer between Gayle and Rondon as both players have impressed during their loan spells.
