Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray will complete the signing of Flying Eagles defender Valentine Ozornwafor this summer before sending him out on loan to a club in Europe, reports Completesports.com.
Ozornwafor, 19, featured for Nigeria’s Flying Eagles side at the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland.
The tall centre-back played in Nigeria’s opening game against Qatar and missed the remaining three games due to injury.
According to a report in Turkish news outlet Askam.com tr, Galatasaray scouting team has monitored the defender’s progress for the past nine months and made positive recommendations to the club.
Ozornwafor who currently plays for Nigeria Professional Football League side, Enyimba, according to the report, will be part of the club’s pre-season program before being sent out on loan.
Super Eagles forward Henry Onyekuru spent the 2018-19 season on loan at Galatasaray and was part of the side that won the league and Cup titles.

Thank God you are not our coach…you would have been inviting players based on their names.
Players from the NPFL often have to go on loan or spend time with the youth teams in order to get used to the discipline and routine of playing football professionally.
Its no surprise that Ozornwafor is being sent away on loan. He has not spent much time playing even for his club, as he’s been mostly on national service this season
