Turkish Super Lig champions, Galatasaray have reached agreement with Napoli for the loan signing of Victor Osimhen.
According to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, the Nigeria international will spend the entire 2024/25 season with the Turkish giants.
Galatasaray will cover the striker’s entire salary until the end of the season.
The loan deal agreed with Napoli does not include a buy option and obligation clause.

“Galatasaray have reached an agreement in principle with Napoli over loan deal for Victor Osimhen,” Romano wrote on X.
“One year loan, salary covered as Napoli have accepted these conditions.
“Gala’s delegation to meet with Osimhen in Napoli in next hours for final green light to the move.”
The 25-year-old will be reunited with former Partenopei teammate Dries Mertens in Istanbul.
Although Osimhen had wanted a Champions League team, he will still be able to compete in the Europa League with Galatasaray, who are facing Tottenham Hotspur and Ajax in the tournament.

Still better than staying idle doing nothing. No paycut and regular playing time so it’s a win-win at the moment.
Though I would have preferred Fernabache under Jose Mourihno but nothing spoil.
Go and fire up the Turkish league
When an African footballer is not living a role model life what he gets is this kind of a deal
Loanee in a less fancy league.
Humility is key!
Select your circle of friends well not street agberos making noise on Internet.
You really break record in this your transfer saga with Napoli.
Not the time for the backlash.
Somethings happen for a purpose. Either good or bad.
One important thing there is that Osimhen and everyone who is a keen observer of this whole scenario has learnt in be the or the other. Depends on what you have learnt urself.
Good opening from Galatasaray. God is still God.
Well said @Jacob. An apology to Finidi will end this decline. From Italy to Turkey is downgrade.
There you come again with Finidi! When will you guys learn to stop looking backward so you can move forward. In life anyone looking backward can never move forward. Please it’s time to moving forward with a focus.
You are saying rubbish. Well done Mr. Humble.
Oh how the mighty has fallen. A serie a winner on loan, to a turkish league. Guy done ruined his career SO FAR right now. I bet going out in public saying how bad he wanted to play in the premier league was worth it! Blame the circle he is in and former players like drogba and obi mikel for being self serving. This is straight embarrassing.
Osimhen was not a priority for chelsea. They signed many other attacking players before osimhen. Chelsea wanted osimhen due to inner circle influence. Chelsea had no money, so they offered a serie a winner a loan with an option to buy
Conte said there is no way back for osimhen and he meant it. The club was disrespected and punished osimhen. They both disrespected each other, but the club comes first. But who doesnt know conte? He probably ruined the club, because he is rash and hard. He throws players under the bus. He is good for league titles but not european championship. As soon as napoli start loosing he will go crazy and most likely get sacked. Napoli last year was 10 with osimhen and krava. Napoli sold a lot of supporting players to psg and bayern and kept his strong assets
De laurentis is a business man. He wants what he wants. He is like daniel levy the owner of spurs. They are tight with set prices on players. Coaches wanted to sell dele ali but levy put a heavy price on such a crap player. What napoli did with osimhen was strategic. They was not gonna make the premier league teams better by giving osimhen, so they wanted to send him to the middle east, but osimhen declined even though saudi have money. So turkey is second best.
This reminds me of nba spurs with kwahi leonord. He made it known he wanted to play for la clippers, he wanted to be traded, had his camp making it known to the news doing the talking for him. So spurs a western conference team sending him to another western conference team was stupid, you are making another team in your conference stronger. You know what spurs did? They shipped him to the eastern conference toronto raptors which was smart. Crazy thing, kwahi leonord still won the nba title with the raptors the following year lmaoo. And went to the clippers the year after. De laurentis the business man
Osimhen is being humbled, he did this to himself. Signed a extension early this year and now look. I never seen such commotion coming from other players right now
Haters of talent, haters of good things are always discreditting Nigerians who are working hard to be the best. OSIMHEM we love you, shine brighter than yesterday. Every distractions put together by enemies of super eagles will die violently. The western world love their own but Africans destroy and criticize their very own because of jealousy and witchcraft envy. God will have you to kiss the dust and be forgotten. Wicked country people.
Lmao…do people watch Turkish league? Who on a earth watches Turkish league.. lmao… Turkish league is not even in top ten best league in the world..lol what am I even saying..lol. you will need torchlight to find them in top fifteen…lol..the Brazilian league even English championship is miles ahead of the Turkish league…lol.. it’s even a loan deal… lmao…
@Monkey man, you are so right. Turkish league is similar to English League One. It is a farmer’s league. An open apology to Finidi would have stopped this thing. Humility is the best policy.
I tell you my brother.. when they tell the ear it doesn’t listen if the head is cut off, it will surely join the head to the grave….

Osimhen is being humbled, he did this to himself. Signed a extension early this year and now look. I never seen such commotion coming from other players right now. Lookman scored a hat trick in europa league for a serie a team. Teams wanted him after that. The coach put him to the side so the transfer wont distract the team. And now they brought him back. Ademola played in the premier and he wanted out and now hes thriving. Let this be lesson to other Nigerian players. Be humble, because Osimhen is being flogged in front of everybody. This music and scamming scene in Nigeria got these Nigerians acting up
The next step is being sold for 1 year left on contract or leave on a free

Osihmen following in the footsteps of the likes of Didier Drogba, Wesley Sneijder, Robin Van Persie, Falcao, Mario Gomez and even our own JJ Okocha and may other greats who have graced the Turkish league
Is God not a wonder worker…?!
I don’t understand how we Nigerians behave at times. Celebrating and being gleeful that one of our own is passing through a though phase in his playing career. This is a player who played his hearts out for Nigeria in the nations cup. Singlehandedly propelled Napoli to Scudetto years after Maradona did it. Won African footballer of the year for himself and Nigeria after so many years. Yet some of us are so happy that he is facing a though time.
By the way, was Finidi even justified in the way he treated Osimhen? Is Finidi a saint? Is it not the same Finidi who fought his super eagles player for the jersey of Pepe of Portugal? How well did Finidi treat Nathan Tella when the player honored the call to play for Nigeria? How happy was Lookman under Finidi? You now wonder why the players gave us a shambolic performance when Finidi was the coach.
Apart from paying Osimhen’s wage for the services he rendered to them, how well did Napoli treat him. A player was instrumental to their becoming champions of Italy but they and a section of their press comes out to treat him shabbily, including using racial slurs against him. But to some of you, Osimhen must not talk or react as if he has no emotions or feelings.
One thing you can’t take away from Osimhen is the fact that he is good. His progression from Under 17 to the super eagles and through the ranks of all the clubs he has played for, proves this. As of today, no striker in the super eagles can give what Osimhen gives. They don’t even have what he brings to the table in the national team. Since you all are so happy that he is passing through a tough time, I’m waiting to see if any of the other strikers in the super eagles will be willing to give a 110% in super eagles next two matches just as Osimhen has always done.
Osimhen has a life after football and nothing is wrong in trying to secure that life. So he is justified in refusing all the low balls Chelsea and Napoli were trying to give him. Why should he even stay in a club where the coach told him pure blank that he is not needed. Let Conte go and win the Scudetto with his preferred players. Also, there’s nothing wrong in going on loan. After all his big move came from Lille in France. So, for Osimhen the way can only be upward for him.
I wonder what these ‘ Finidi’s relatives ‘ would say when Osimhen moves to much a bigger Club where he deservedly belongs after his short loan spell in Galatasaray.
Say whatever you may of Osimhen, one thing is certain, he will give 100% and goals are certain.
Galatasaray enjoy him while you can.
Osimhen all the best.
Hahahahaha…..Mr Hush, I thought the greedy old fool that runs napoli was a brave man.
140m debt is choking the glutton to death already….LMAOoo..??
FFP na your mate…??!
Pls Dé Laurentis, Keep Osimhen till January ehn. When it’s January request for 150m this time around since you are that greedy….LMAOoo
As long as our boy still gets his 250k credited into his account every weekend, he can play in the Tanzanian league till 2026 for all we care.
Osimhen’s next career move will not be to any club where he will be paid a penny less.
Galatasaray are playing in the Europa league this season, actually they are perennially in Europe…unlike some other clubs that osimhen fired to europe after a sabbatical from European Competitions.
For a team that houses up to 50000 fans in their home games, wins a title (league or cup) almost every other season and plays regularly in European Competitions….it’s not a bad place to buy time till clubs can snap Osimhen up for free.
Like I said previously, Osimhen is in safe hands.
Some players labour their whole career to get paid 250k per week. To get paid that amount to train with U21s is more than a dream come true…LMAOoo.
Sorry Napoli, your loss once again…!
I hope he can get another loan option after this season and run down his contract and leave Napoli in the red as a free transfer. That will be the best way to pay That bastard called de Laurentis and their ungrateful fans…But according to the deal, Osimhen wants a clause insertion for other clubs to buy him in January.
You really read my mind.
All i wish at the moment is that Napoli never makes a dime from Osimhen anymore.
He has given them enough. He gave them a league title as a top-scorer [without penalties o].
Such an ungrateful club.
If Victor can get another club that is ready to take him on loan for another season without proposing a wage-cut, He should pls take the offer [Of course unless it is a permanent move to a top 5 European club with a higher pay per week].
I really would love to see him walk out of Napoli on a FREEEEE….!!!
Let that old thief have to sell half of his team to survive FFP regulations come 2026/2027 season…..LMAOOOoo
Bro, you said it all, it’s a win-win for Osimhen, He might even get a buyer by the January transfer window, The clause is included in his loan deal. Gala would also cash out from him full time if they are smart, he would be arguably the biggest star in the Turkish league so Gala has to use this leverage to make money, His shirt will sell like Diamond. Gala is the biggest and most successful club in Turkey so he is actually in safe hands. Osimhen would play without pressure and I know he would rake in the goals.
Some people in this group are evil. How can someone celebrate what Osimhen is currently going through? May God punish all of them
Pls can someone explain to me what Osimhen is going through at the moment…?
I don’t really get it…?
Has he been sacked from football…?
Has he stopped being paid his $250,000 per week wage…?
Has he just been banned from all football related activities for 5 years….?
A botched transfer isn’t anything to mourn.
Ademola lookman also just had the biggest move of his career shred in tatters.
Paul Onuachu has been left hanging the whole summer, not knowing if he’s still gonna be playing in the EPL or the Turkish league….?
We don’t even know what is going on with Jordan Torunarigha’s transfer from Gent at the moment.
So whats up with the mourning or jubilation….?
That Osimhen isn’t playing for napoli anymore was/is his personal decision. He has already sent the message out since the end of last season that he’s done with such an ungrateful club….and rightly so. Any club that mocks its own player for missing a penalty doesn’t deserve such a player…..no less their top scorer for 3 seasons running and the highest paid player in Italian football.
So really, what is osimhen going through that calls for mourning or celebration….?
Osimhen is very ALRIGHT till the summer of 2026….!!! Any other thing that happens between now and then is a bonus. He is not a free agent who is about to go broke because he cannot find a club to pay his bills. HE IS STILL THE HIGHEST PAID PLAYER IN ITALIAN FOOTBALL….at least till June 2026 and that isn’t going to change anytime soon.
Osimhen is the man of the year….for taking on all the nincompoops who have tried to belittle him and coming out unscathed. The boy is a lion with 9 lives and I am very proud of him.
And to those miserable ones who have made making mockery of him on behalf of their incompetent tin-god Finidi a daily devotion……I have only 1 prayer for them…….
MAY THEY ENCOUNTER MANY FINIDIs AT THEIR VARIOUS PLACES OF WORK [if at all they have any]. EVERYTIME THEY ARE ABOUT TO EXPERIENCE A BREAKTHROUGH MAY FINIDI HAPPEN TO THEM.
So shall it be…!!!
Nice comment
Osimhen I wish you the best
Well said@ josh. He desired chelsea as a chelsea fan for years. Iet compare what chelsea offered osimhen to Sancho. It was purely racial. Osimhen deserve better. A proud African, one of yhe best strikers in the world. Wishing him the very best. The sky will be his starting point.
Let us stop this madness and wish Him well. The oyibos hate us.
What he did to national team coach is totally bad and unprofessional and he tarnished his image his career is also at risk. Sorry osimhen. Therefore others needs learn to respect their National coaches even if they’re also black. UP siasia.
Don’t mind that De Laurentis @DrDrey
If Avarice was to be well illustrated, look no further than that old man.
I am just glad Osimhen stuck to his conviction and found a way out of this mess.Thank Goodness for Galatasaray. Hopefully by next season( or even January) he moves to where he’ll be genuinely respected and his heart is truly is.
For now,Osimhen should paint Turkey and Europe with goals like he always does. And yeah, hoping to see him on the scoresheet against Benin rep.
Daily post just wrote Napoli wants him to extend his contract to 2027 before he goes to turkey so that the one year left after the dry loan will not be there again.
Osimhen needs to fire his agent….It is mind boggling that along with loan contract, Napoli also inserted a new clause that states “Napoli will retain an option to automatically extend to June 2027 if they fail to sell the player by June 2025”
Man, I just hope he can finally leave these people in January.
“If that was activated, it would also have the same salary, but the release clause would be cut from €130m to €80m”
at this stage no one cares where he ends up. What happened to all that noise about wait till the end of transfer window that clubs will come for him. Conte is obviously not stupid to have a rude player in his team. They will eventually clash heads and will just become irrelevant immediately.
Hahahaha….okponu ayirada, mr nashshit eleyin katafu ..LMAOoo. So clubs didn’t come for him….?
The ones like PSG and Alahli with whom he had agreed personal terms or chelsea the sent its representatives to Italy to offer him a 50% wage cut are not clubs….LMAOoo…they are beer parlors…LMAOoo
We will continue to pray to God to pity your life and give you sense.
AMEN! AMIN!!
