Even so, Inter officials still told him to find a new club and he has returned to Brazil for a second time, this time with Flamengo.
Despite his Inter future looking bleak, his agent Junior Pedroso says Gabigol, as he is known, still wants a future with the Nerazzurri. “It took 35 days of negotiations [to complete his move to Flamengo]”, he told FCInter1908.it. “Flamengo are one of the best clubs in the world. “Every player in Brazil dreams of playing for this club. West Ham United wanted to complete a deal quickly, but we weren’t able to reach an agreement. “Would he ever return to Inter? Certainly, his dream of playing for Inter remains alive.”
