Federation of International Football Association, FIFA, has listed no fewer than seven Nigerian referees for different categories of its Futuro 111 Course for referees instructors slated for Kigali, Rwanda, later this month, Completesports.com reports.
Other referees drawn from other African countries are also expected to take part in the exercise.
Ago Abubakar and Ugheli Cecilia will take part in the Technical category while retired 5-A-Side FIFA referee Ibrahim Fagge is for the Fitness category.
Those listed for the Advanced Category of the annual course include seasoned international referee instructor, Callistus Chukwujekwu, Peter Edibe, Felicia Okwugba and Engr Emmanuel Imiere (FIFA rtd).
The Nigeria Referees Association (NRA) President, Otunba Tade Azeez expressed gratitude to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for the continued support in training and retraining of referees for maximum performance on domestic and international scenes.
“The experience garnered in such retraining exercise would no doubt be utilised for the growth of officiating of the round leather game in the country,” the NRA boss said while wishing the participants best of luck.

CS don’t give us news about Fifa again. Enough of the brainwashing from them when it is clear they don’t have the good of Africans at heart.#ModernColonisation
