Fulham’s hopes of signing Ivan Cavaleiro this summer have been boosted by the news Wolves will be open to offers for him. The relegated Cottagers have been linked with a swoop for the 25-year-old Portuguese forward over the past 12 months and were tipped to make an offer in this transfer window as boss Scott Parker looks to rebuild his squad for a promotion push in the Championship.

Cavaleiro has made over 100 appearances for Wolves since joining in a then club record £7million switch from Monaco in summer 2016. And, having helped Nuno Espirito Santo’s side secure promotion to the Premier League in his first season, he slipped down the pecking order in the middle of last term, making just three top-flight starts since Christmas.
Reports claim he will be made available in this window as Nuno looks to bring in transfer funds and that will alert Fulham into making a swoop. The Londoners will have to move swiftly though, as fellow relegated side Huddersfield have also been linked with a move for Cavaleiro.
