Fulham face a real fight to keep hold of Aleksandar Mitrovic this summer and Southampton are the latest club to be lined with a swoop.
The Cottagers are understood to be keen to keep hold of the Serbian star following their relegation as they bid to secure an immediate return to the Premier League.
Fulham’s resolve looks set to be tested, however, as reports now claim Southampton have set their sights on the 24-year-old and are preparing a £30million bid.

It remains to be seen if such an offer will tempt the Londoners as previous reports have claimed Fulham have set an asking price of £40million for Mitrovic, although they may soften their stance if it becomes clear the striker is seeking an exit.
Mitrovic has also been linked with the likes of Tottenham, Crystal Palace and a move to China in recent months and Fulham could face a battle to keep hold of the striker, even if Southampton opt against a bid.
