Fulham manager Marco Silva has kind words for Calvin Bassey after his impressive performance in the club’s victory over Nottingham Forest.
Bassey scored the winning goal for the Whites in the 2-1 victory at the Craven Cottage on Saturday.
The centre-back powered home a header in the 62nd minute of the thrilling encounter.

It was the Nigeria international’s first goal of the season for the Whites.
Silva said he has been working on the defender’s positioning in the box.
“The players’ celebration showed how much they appreciate Calvin. It was his first goal for the club, and he’s a very popular figure in the dressing room.
” We’ve been working on his positioning in the box, and it was great to see him finally score.”
