Fulham manager Marco Silva has heaped plaudits on Calvin Bassey for his performance in the club’s comprehensive victory over Nottingham Forest.
The Whites thrashed Steve Cooper’s side 5-0 at the City Ground on Wednesday night.
Bassey, who featured on the left-side of the defence put up an impressive performance in the game.
The defender showed perfect understanding with Tosin Adarabioyo throughout the game.

Silva praised the Nigeria international for thriving in the new position
“Bassey played on the left-hand side, which is usually Tim’s role, and it was nice to see him perform as well, ” the gaffer said after the game.
The 23-year-old’s international teammate Alex Iwobi scored a brace for Fulham in the encounter.
Bassey joined Fulham from Eredivisie outfit Ajax in the summer.
Fulham moved to 12th position on the table following the win.

Yet some arm chair Critic say Bassey is not a Super Eagles material instead, Benjamin Fredrick and Igho Ogbu are !!! Laughable indeed !!
@ Emecco, there are some comments here, that truly reveal four aspects of the person posting those comments ; their age, their honesty, the level of their football knowledge, and when such ones started watching football. So better off paying less attention to such comments.
