Super Falcons head coach Randy Waldrum is looking forward to his side’s upcoming friendly against Olympic champions Canada.
The nine-time African champions will take on Canada in a pre-Olympics friendly in Sevilla on Wednesday.
The highly anticipated encounter will be played behind closed doors.
Waldrum said the Super Falcons are well prepared for the North Americans.
“We are expecting a great game, the players have worked extremely hard, unfortunately few players came into the camp a little bit late but the level has been extremely high,” Waldrum told the Super Falcons Show
“The players are focused and looking forward to the Olympics. The friendly will allow us work on a couple of things that we have practice so far in training.
“It will also help us see some players, to look for the best combinations ahead of our opening game against Brazil.
“I think everyone one is ready. The players are tired of playing against each other. They are ready to face a good team. We are all looking forward to the game against Canada.”

The friendly game is going to be a good test for our girls the falcons but i must say that, we use the the game to strategize on how to win our opponents. I think is gonna be a tough game but at the end our girls will come up tops. Also, i must suggest that the coach should bring in the new girls and see how they can cope in big games.
I believe in our girls ability to soar like the falcons.
Cheers and go girls and make us pride. Nigerians are strongly behind you and we believe and pray that you come back with a medal at the Olympics game.
