Francis Uzoho has expressed his disappointment following the Super Eagles 2-2 draw with Saudi Arabia in Friday’s international friendly game in Portugal.
Uzoho was at fault for the opening goal of the game after palming a free-kick into the net.
The Super Eagles rallied back as an own goal by a Saudi Arabia player and a Kelechi Iheanacho’s superb strike made it 2-1.

But in the 99th minute, Saudi Arabia equalised as a well taken free-kick close to the edge of the box deflected off Calvin Bassey and beat Uzoho.
Reacting to the draw, Uzoho wrote on his X handle:“Not the result we wanted but we move.”
Up next for Uzoho and his Super Eagles teammates is another friendly against Mozambique on Monday.
Mozambique played out a 1-1 draw against Angola in Friday’s international friendly game.

Since the SACK of GENERAL ROAR, UZOHO and some of these PLAYERS have LOST their CONFIDENCE…
I mean this was the UZOHO BEAMING with so much CONFIDENCE in 2018 WORLD CUP, 2019 NATIONS CUP and the rest….
He’s just not competent, full stop.
A country like ours shouldn’t be persisting with these perennial flops
What nonsense are you insinuating by this tribalistically loaded statement? meaning Roar took the confidence of this extremely poor goal tender with him when he left the Super Eagles?. You must be delusional and confused. Uzoho is the worst goalkeeper for the Super Eagles ever. He is a national disgrace.
YOU ARE NOT A GOOD GOALKEEPER
THE GOALS ARE YOUR FAULTS
NONESENS
The very way the match played out was exactly how we always mess up in major tournaments. We don’t know how to lock and win major matches. Uzoho who was the best option so far has only messed up his chance and taken us back to square one because Okoye is even worst and Adeleye is too short plus he concedes alot of goals. Nigeria should look deep or try out Aniagboso on the next friendly window because we can not win Afcon or any Trophy with this nonsense Goalkeepers.
Since I know Nigeria as a footballing nation, all our keepers are being brought up from local league and from there performance they move abroad and continue to shine but this time around any keeper we heard that is anywhere so far he is abroad,we will be begging him to come and keep for our national team, I strongly believe that our best keepers is still in the local league, if the coaches can create time to watch our league,he will surely get what he is looking for outside inside our door step
Uzoho must be comedian, wow! had a good laugh. The dude actually said “We move”. Yeah right! You move on to another game to allow more goals in. To be fair with you, you have improved with the ball at your feet but other aspect of your game ls horrendous. To think if he left that ball, the goal might not have happened. Like someone stated in this forum, he took a ball that was probably going wide and dunked it into his own net!
Thumbs up brotherman.

The guy is a comedian, not just him though, some players are playing themselves out of the team,Sammy, Aribo, Ebuehi needs to sit out for now. I ve said here several times Tella is a far better option sentiments apart. Whenever Awoniyi recovers the coach should try Awoniyi, Boniface combo for us to see, I ve my reasons. Afcon is not moi moi ooo we need our best legs not our best jesters
