Belgian-born Nigerian striker Cyriel Dessers was in action but did not get on the score sheet for Heracles in their 1-1 draw against Swiss club Sion in Thursday’s friendly game, Completesports.com reports.
It was Heracles’ second friendly game in just two days as they prepare for the second half of the Eredivisie season.
Dessers could not replicate his goal scoring form against Mönchengladbach where he scored two goals in a 3-1 win.
He had the first big chance of the game against Sion but his goal bound strike off a cross was saved the opponent’s goal keeper.
Heracle went in front in the 42nd minute through Teun Bijleveld before Yannick Cotter equalised for Sion on 56 minutes.
