A first half brace from Rasheedat Ajibade earned Nigeria’s Super Falcons a 2-0 win against Algeria, in Saturday’s friendly game played inside Remo stadium, in Ikenne, Ogun State.
Ajibade opened the scoring in the 24th minute as she ran on to a long range pass from midfield and lobbed the Algerian keeper who rushed out of her area.
Then in two minutes of added time in the first half Ajibade got her second goal as he volleyed into the top corner from outside the box.
It is the first of two friendly games between the Falcons and their Algerian counterparts.
Both teams will meet again on Tuesday, October 29 inside the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, in Lagos.

My falcons are back to scoring bangers. The same people who said no underdogs in football will not give kudos because they’re waiting for the Nigerian coach to fail. Anyways I expect to see even better improvement when the full team assembles.
The team is Super falcons B.
Beside Ajibade and our goal keeper none of the rest is in Super falcons team A.
