France and Sporting Charleroi of Belgium goalkeeper, Nicolas Penneteau, says Super Eagles and Lille striker Victor Osimhen reminds him of legendary Chelsea star Didier Drogba, Completesports.com reports.
Penneteau was a former teammate of Osimhen at Sporting Charleroi, after the Nigerian joined the Belgian side on loan from Bundesliga club Wolfsburg in 2018.
Osimhen impressed during his time at Charleroi scoring19 goals in 34 appearances.

And following his impressive spell at Charleroi, Osimhen moved to Ligue 1 outfit Lille, where he continued his impressive form.
So far he has scored 18 goals and six assists in 38 games in all competitions, while his Ligue 1 tally stands at 13 goals and five assists from 27 games.
And speaking on The 21-year-old’s impressive performance this campaign, Penneteau told Voix du Nord earlier this season: “I’m sure he’s going to be a phenomenon,” the 39-year-old said about the 2019 AFCON bronze medal winner.
“I’d compare him to Didier Drogba. He really makes me think of him. He has the same profile. He can do everything and he’s phenomenally powerful.”
Meanwhile, according to French outlet Le Quotidien du Foot Osimhen is on the radar of both Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta and Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho, amongst other big clubs.
His exploits helped Lille up to fourth in the table and in the race for a European place prior to the football shutdown.
Osimhen has certainly shown this season that he is a high-calibre player and seemingly destined for a higher level, hence it’s little surprise that he has been linked with the likes of Arsenal and Spurs.
The Gunners have Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette on their books but both of their futures are uncertain.
Spurs will surely not want a repeat of their crisis up front before the shutdown and thus could bolster their ranks accordingly.
However, with Le10 Sport reporting that Lille are eyeing a record-breaking fee for Osimhen, perhaps even in the region of €100million (£92million) bracket, it would not be an easy negotiation process.

Only Manchester United is good enough for Victor Osimhem at this time. Imo
Osimhen is a complete striker,he can dribble,he has pace,he can finish well with both feets,he can position well,he marks defenders upfront,he is good in the air,he attacks space intelligetly and he will surely succeed in the premier league no matter the club he plays for.
