French Ligue 2 club Sochaux have confirmed Valentine Ozornwafor’s Invitation for Nigeria’s upcoming international friendly against the Desert Foxes of Algeria.
The centre-back has made one appearance for the Super Eagles.
The Super Eagles will be without two of their regular centre-backs, Semi Ajayi and Kenneth Omeruo for the game.
Ajayi is expected to be out of action for around a month after undergoing surgery on a knee injury this week.

Omeruo, who plays for Spanish Segunda Division club, Leganes is also nursing an Injury.

“Valentine Ozornwafor has been called up to Nigeria’s squad for the upcoming international break,”reads a statement on the club’s official website.
“The Super Eagles will play a friendly match against Algeria on September 27 in Oran.
“The Sochaux defender is called to join his national team on September 19, with which he currently has three selections.”
Ozornwafor joined Sochaux on a season-long loan deal from Turkish Super Lig club, Galatasaray this summer.
The defender has made three league appearances for his club this season.

This dude is a bench warmer for a second division club,can’t understand why he was invited,I’m sure Peseiro wasn’t part of this.
A great prospect,but still a second division player.
If we continue in this thread soon players in 3rd divisions will fancy their chances with the super eagles.
I hope Peseiro is not the type of coach that the NFF will control like a marionette…. I will rather home-based defender than this guy. Dude hasn’t cut it out yet in any European club he has joined.
