Leicester City were reported to the frontrunners to sign Liverpool’s Harry Wilson on loan next season before Brendan Rodgers took over.
Goal now claim Liverpool could look elsewhere as they try to secure a Premier League loan for the Welshman next season because of concerns over Rodgers’ record with young players.

Rodgers wanted Wilson at Celtic last summer but Liverpool agreed a season-long loan deal to send him back to the Championship, where he had been at Hull City, with Derby County.
It is claimed the Anfield club expressed concerns about the manager’s record of playing young players at Parkhead and cited Charly Musonda’s situation as a reason for rejecting their bid.
Leicester City are pretty well off for wingers, with Harvey Barnes, Demarai Gray and Marc Albrighton all options for the time being.
